BP Bulk Delete is a simple plugin that allows BuddyPress Admins to delete all Activity, Notifications and messages older than a specific date. This is aimed primarily at older systems to remove unused database entries.
Following Download and activation the plugin creates a new menu in Dashboard>>Tools>>BP Bulk Delete:
From here you are able to select the deletion date for Activity, Messages and Notifications. One thing to note is that this will also delete unread messages and notifications, which might be a problem on some sites.
Overall I give this plugin 9 out of 10. I think it works well and does exactly what it says it will, however it would be really useful if it could not delete unread emails.
I've been setting up and managing BuddyPress social networks for a few years. I moved from Ning and other platforms and have come to BuddyPress looking to make sites with similar features to them.
BP Post Status adds three new Post Status options; alongside the usual publishing options, the post publishing box now supports Members Only, Friends Only and Group Post statuses, with Group Post providing a drop-down of available groups to assign the post to. It also adds a group posts tab in each group and provides the option to set a post as the group homepage.
BuddyPress Follow allows members of a BuddyPress social network to follow each other, it places follow buttons on each members profile and in the members page and adds extra tab's in each members profile page, one showing who is following you and the other showing who you are following.
