Match Me for BuddyPress allows site Admin to set up specific profile fields to be compared between site members, the plugin then displays the resulting match percentage in the members profile cover image area.

BuddyPress Edit Activity is a plugin that allows users to edit their activity updates. The plugin can be set to only allow site admin to edit activity and also you can set a timeout to limit how long after posting an update can be edited.
BP Registration Options is a simple plugin designed to do two things: It enables moderation of new BuddyPress users, and it turns a BuddyPress site into a private network.
BP Block Users allows BuddyPress site admin to block users from accessing the site, either temporarily or permanently.
Events Manager is a rich featured Events plugin for WordPress/BuddyPress. Truth be told it is probably overkill for many BuddyPress sites however it does offer good integration with BuddyPress and it’s diverse range of options mean that it should be the only Events Manager you will ever need.

The combination of WordPress and BuddyPress is a powerful and complex mix, it will take you some time playing with all of the features in order for you to come up with your ideal site.
